Farmer’s Museum hosts a show of strength

The Orange County Farmer’s Museum hosted an antique tractor pull on Sunday, the fourth of the season. Tractors (and their owners) of all shapes, sizes and ages compete in the event. Future tractor pulls are set for Sept. 13 and Oct. 18. There is also a tractor parade scheduled for Sept. 5 in the Village of Montgomery. Read more…

Tetra Brazil returns to Marlboro

The Marlboro United Soccer Club is proud to continue hosting the Tetra Brazil Soccer Camp team at Cluett Schantz Memorial Park in Milton this week. Two trained Brazilian soccer coaches welcomed almost twenty children to their program which focuses on polishing their skills and preparing them for a successful fall soccer season. Read more…

Cobras reach finals of American Legion tournament

The Middletown Cobras senior American Legion team opened the District 9 tournament Saturday, July 18, with a 9-0 victory over Ellenville. And the next day, the Cobras were still moving, beating Kingston 14-1 at Highland’s Tony Williams Park. Read more…

The Newburgh Nuclears senior American Legion team entered their game with Rockland in the District 9 playoffs at Delano-Hitch Stadium Monday, July 20 with a 1-1 record in the double-elimination tournament after beating Ellenville 6-4 and then incurring an unusual forfeit against Kingston.
