I am fortunate to own one of this artist’s early photographs (mat & frame hand designed). Please follow up on Mr.DeJoseph’s next exhibit as I also am a native Brooklynite & would like to acquire additional pieces by him. His work is absolutely inspirational! I think that if the residents are being harassed then its time for the town to step in and do there job.If the town hands are tied then the police need to step in…. Plain and simple some do your job, if these seniors were one of your parents wouldn’t you do some thing about it?

If the residents at Vineyard Commons have been complaing for a year why hasnt anything been done when the project was approved by the Town for 55 and older facility?

Herb Litts questioned if requring a record keeping revision “after the fact” could be legally challenged by Vineyard, I say the rules are forever changing with the town and all are expected to ahere to the changes (happens all the time with dealing with the town)
Hansut said some of the residents have been harassed for bringing this issue to the forefront. I say if those seinors were my parents or the parents of any one working at the Town, things would be alot different. If a elderly person is being harassed for some one else’s personal gain then there truly is some thing wrong with this picture and shame on the town for taking so long to do some thing about.
Town Board was given a copy of a document that was posted by management at Vineyard that lays blame upon a few residents who have sought to blow the whistle on management. I say Obviously there is something for management to hide.
Management says there are residents living here who have taken it upon them selves to bypass mamagement and send correspondence to third party. I say if management was doing there job correctly then non of this would be taking place. I say maybe management should be looked into as it appears they are not doing there job, and if they think its ok to harass seniors then they should not be managing anything!
“Good Faith” ( now theres a concept) Good faith is earned not a privalige and if they have no faith in management then they clearly have not earned it.

Obviously I could go on and on about this issue, but it will take more then one voice to get the Town to step up to the plate and do some thing for these people…

I think these “over 55″ communities are great but the rents are amazingly high. I would like to know how a senior citizen who just has social security can get into these places. I know there are income guidelines but I also know that there is a minimum rent and that seems to be high.

Gee, no one in the Town Of Montgomery ever thought of this? Cornwall did???
What’s wrong with this picture? Recyclables, there is a dumpster on Bracken Road that can be used. It is used by everyone else in the town, why not the waste from the cemetery WHICH IS IN THE TOWN OF MONTGOMERY??????

This isn;t something that should take place whenever someone sees a need for it, it should be taken care of on a regular basis. How many people drive past that everyday of the week? How many people from the Town Of Montgomery SEE IT???

Nice to see a local artist getting recognition, hopefully this can give his career some fuel for the fire. I hope this also inspires other youths to see, you truly have to start from their own community as per say their library( real people) to give them a boost to go on

If this pumping facility provide village water to the development, should’t the village maintain it for their own benefit? If there is no water to those homes, who is responsible. I would think,ultimately,the village.
